Allan Wilson

Allan has worked as a professional touring musician since 1996. As a member of the seminal dance-punk band !!! (chk chk chk), he co-composed and recorded five full-length albums. Along with an extensive studio and compositional practice, he has performed and DJed extensively in North and South America, Europe, and Asia. Allan has completed several artist residencies around the West Coast, including two stints at artist Andrea Zittel’s AZ–West compound near Joshua Tree National Park. Areas of special interest include composing within DAWs, acoustic and synthetic percussion, immersive/multichannel sound arrays, and DIY recording techniques.

Lisa Schonberg

Creating music and art within the infrastructure of ecological research is central to Lisa’s work. She received her Masters in Environmental Studies studying with ecologists Jack Longino and Nalini Nadkarni at the Evergreen State College, and has since worked with entomologist Karl Magnacca on The Hylaeus Project, and entomologist Fabricio Baccaro on ant acoustics in the Brazilian Amazon. She is an artist in residence at the HJ Andrews Experimental Station in Oregon, and is collaborating on scores for entomology films produced by the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute.
